The "Barn" Waste Water Treatment Facility

Roncelli is constructing a new Wastewater Treatment Facility to supportsitewide infrastructure at the Saline Data Center for Related Digital andend-user Oracle.

The project includes construction of an approximately 500-square-footbuilding that will house media filters, wastewater treatment equipment, andpiping that support the main wastewater treatment system. The building willfeature a masonry exterior, wood roof trusses, and an asphalt shingle roofsystem.

The wastewater treatment plant will include a Bioclere treatment systemwith a 20,000-gallon baffled primary settling tank, a 5,000-gallon aerationequalization tank, two Bioclere trickling filters, a 12,000-gallon finalpolishing tank, sand filter, and two ultraviolet disinfection units.

While the building itself is compact, the system it supports is acritical part of the larger campus infrastructure. Most of the wastewatertreatment plant components, including piping and tanks, will be installedunderground outside of the building, helping support the long-term operationsof the Saline Data Center site.
