The Fish Creek Solar Park represents one of DTE Energy’s next-generation self-build solar initiatives, supporting Michigan’s ongoing transition to clean, renewable energy. Located in Montcalm County, the 175 MWac utility-scale photovoltaic facility is designed to generate sustainable power while aligning with DTE’s Integrated Resource Plan and state renewable energy targets.

Roncelli, in partnership with CrestCura and Tetra Tech, developed an updated EPC budget proposal and execution strategy for the project, building upon lessons learned from similar solar developments. The team’s combined expertise provides a seamless blend of engineering, procurement, logistics, construction management, and commissioning services, offering DTE a technically sound and cost-efficient delivery model.

The proposed facility will feature single-axis tracking technology, 345 kV grid integration and a 34.5 kV collection system, designed for optimal efficiency, durability, and grid integration. The site layout and engineering approach incorporate environmentally responsible design elements, including stormwater management and vegetation preservation.
