City of Sterling Heights Campus Renovation

After years of continuous use, the Richard J. Notte City campus in Sterling Heights, Mich., received a widespread rehabilitation. Construction of the city campus consisted of four primary facility buildings totaling 170,000 square feet.

Roncelli, Inc. was hired to oversee tenant improvements for the district court, city hall, police department and public library buildings. The work scope included select demolition, upgrades to the HVAC, plumbing, sprinklers, lighting, power, data, fire alarm system and architecture.

Each building also received enhancements to essential areas such as lobbies, courtrooms, public transaction areas, communal areas, kitchens, security desks, the crime lab, administration offices, the library hall, locker rooms and toilet rooms. Roncelli also built a new glass-enclosed teen room, additional study rooms and a makerspace room for the library.
