Roncelli completed a multi-site fuel and battery testing equipment relocation and reinstallation project for Ford Motor Company, servicing two locations: PFSL in Dearborn, Michigan, and APTL in Allen Park, Michigan. The scope of work included the relocation of fuel testing equipment and systems from the PFSL facility to the APTL location. At PFSL, Roncelli safely demolished and removed all owner testing equipment, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), materials tied to the relocated systems, returning the space to its original condition. The equipment and furnishings were then transported, tracked, reinstalled and commissioned at APTL, where Roncelli completed all MEP connections and final system commissioning to restore full functionality.

This project was delivered under a lump sum contract and reached completion in Q2 2025. Roncelli provided a full range of services including preconstruction, construction, equipment and tooling coordination, and self-performed work. Key self-performed scopes included demolition, equipment handling, and MEP installation. The project was completed on time with zero safety incidents and no disruptions to Ford’s ongoing operations, demonstrating Roncelli’s ability to execute complex, multi-location projects with precision and care.
