Kansas City Air Tempering Project

Roncelli recently completed an extensive Air Tempering job at the largest Ford plant in North America, located in Kansas City, MO. Spanning a massive 1,249 acres, the plant is a vital hub for Ford’s production, specifically the iconic F150 truck. Operating with 3 shifts on each side, the plant requires high efficiency and robust infrastructure to maintain its production schedules.

Our team successfully installed approximately 5,000 feet of pipe, ranging from 2 to 4 feet in diameter, as part of the facility’s air tempering system. This complex and large-scale piping network ensures the plant’s environment is optimally controlled, enhancing efficiency and comfort for the workforce operating in such a dynamic production environment.

To meet the project’s logistical challenges, our team utilized a helicopter to precisely set four new units on the main assembly. This innovative approach minimized disruption and allowed for the swift and safe installation of the equipment, ensuring that production schedules remained uninterrupted.
