Gino Roncelli leads Roncelli’s overall strategy, operations, culture, and long-term growth. As President and CEO, he focuses on strengthening the company’s leadership team, advancing client experience, and positioning Roncelli to deliver complex work across healthcare, advanced manufacturing, energy, industrial, logistics, mixed-use, mission critical, and other large-scale markets.

Since joining Roncelli in 2012, Gino has worked across nearly every facet of the business, including preconstruction, project delivery, closeout, financial analysis, strategy, technology, and in-house legal matters. He previously served as Vice President of Strategy and helped modernize Roncelli’s technology stack, improving systems, reporting, collaboration, and decision-making across the company. Gino holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, a JD from Wayne State University Law School, is a licensed attorney in Michigan, and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He is also active in business, civic, philanthropic, and nonprofit work throughout Detroit and Southeast Michigan.

Mike Cairns leads Roncelli’s accounting and finance functions, with responsibility for financial management, tax, risk management, insurance, banking, and surety relationships. His leadership supports the financial discipline, reporting structure, and business planning needed to help Roncelli operate with stability and confidence.

Mike joined Roncelli in December 1999 after serving as a Senior Audit Manager at Doeren Mayhew from 1990 to 1999. His public accounting background and long tenure with Roncelli provide a strong foundation for managing the company’s financial operations and supporting leadership with sound financial insight. Mike earned his CPA license in 1994 and has been actively involved with the Detroit Area Construction Association, formerly CFMA, including service as a board member and president.

Jim Carnacchi leads Roncelli’s preconstruction and estimating division, overseeing the bidding process, subcontractor awards, and the development of accurate, competitive cost estimates. His leadership helps establish a strong foundation for project success by aligning scope, budget, value, and constructability early in the process.

Jim has been with Roncelli since 1994 and brings deep industry experience to his role. Before joining the company, he worked as a cement finisher and equipment operator for his father’s construction company, gaining hands-on field experience that shaped his understanding of means and methods, jobsite operations, teamwork, and craftsmanship. Jim has helped lead Roncelli’s preconstruction and estimating teams in support of annual volume goals and a strong, sustainable backlog. He is a Ferris State University graduate with a degree in Construction Management, holds a Michigan Builders License, and is LEED and OSHA 30 certified.

Paul Day is accountable for overall company project operations and performance at Roncelli. As Chief Operating Officer, he provides leadership and support across safety, quality, schedule management, cost control, project delivery, and market growth. His role helps align operational teams around consistent execution, strong client service, and successful project outcomes.

Paul has been with Roncelli since the spring of 1994 and has delivered key projects across the company’s portfolio before shifting his focus to company-wide processes, operational performance, and strategic growth. His experience includes advanced manufacturing, energy, solar, battery, industrial, mission critical, logistics, and facility management work. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University and a Master of Engineering Management from Oakland University. He is also LEED accredited and a Leadership Macomb graduate.

Jereme Poxson helps lead Roncelli’s operations with a focus on successful project delivery, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service. As Chief Operating Officer, he supports strategic growth across market sectors including healthcare, education, mixed-use, multifamily, government, entertainment, hospitality, commercial, and parks and recreation, while also contributing to talent recruitment and development.

Jereme began his career with Roncelli in 1998 after earning a degree in construction management. Before joining Roncelli, he worked in operations for a small family company on the East Coast. His career at Roncelli began with a focus on preconstruction and estimating, where he led major projects across multiple market sectors and later served as Chief Estimator. He then shifted his focus to developing the healthcare market and ultimately to operations, project delivery, and strategic market growth. Jereme is a LEED Green Associate and serves on several nonprofit boards, including the McLaren Macomb Foundation Board.

Jude DeBacker provides executive leadership for field execution across Roncelli, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and with strong operational discipline. He translates company strategy into consistent field operations by standardizing processes, supporting field leadership, and driving performance across safety, quality, schedule certainty, labor productivity, and talent development.

Jude joined Roncelli in 2004 after 12 years of construction industry experience as a project engineer, project manager, and superintendent. He has advanced through key field leadership roles, including Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, General Superintendent, and now SVP Field Operations. Throughout his career, he has helped develop and improve many of the operations processes and procedures used across the company today. Jude holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Michigan State University and maintains credentials including LEED Green Associate, Certified Healthcare Safety Professional, MHCC, OSHA 30, Michigan Storm Water Operator, and MISHE membership.

Jeff Tessmer guides project delivery and drives operational excellence across Roncelli’s project management teams. His leadership focuses on safety, efficiency, innovation, mentorship, and ensuring that budget, schedule, and quality expectations are consistently met across the organization.

Jeff joined Roncelli as an intern in 1998 and became a full-time project engineer in 2000. He advanced through the company’s project management career path, including Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Associate Director of Healthcare, and now SVP Project Management. Jeff has been instrumental in further establishing and growing Roncelli’s healthcare market sector, maintaining strong client relationships over the past 15 to 20 years, and improving project management processes and leading practices. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering and Management from Western Michigan University, an MBA in Finance from Walsh College, and LEED AP credentials.

Stephanie Maynard serves as a strategic partner to Roncelli leadership by developing and executing human capital strategies that support growth, operational excellence, and workforce stability. She helps ensure the organization has the right talent, structure, and processes in place while fostering a culture that balances high performance with strong employee engagement and Roncelli’s core values.

Stephanie brings more than 24 years of progressive human resources leadership experience across legal, nonprofit, food manufacturing, recruitment, and commercial construction environments. At Roncelli, she architected and built the Human Resources function from the ground up, transforming it into a fully integrated, strategic operation that supports a rapidly expanding workforce. Her work has strengthened recruitment, HRIS implementation, compliance, employee relations, process optimization, leadership alignment, and communication across the organization. Stephanie holds a master’s degree in management with a specialization in human resource management and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in management and a minor in marketing.

Marcus Perez leads enterprise-wide initiatives focused on modernizing operations, improving efficiency, and enabling scalable growth at Roncelli. Marcus supports Roncelli’s operations and clients by driving continuous improvement across business systems, workflows, and digital platforms. His work focuses on practical, measurable outcomes, including streamlined processes, improved data visibility, and stronger tools and insights for high-performing teams. Marcus brings extensive experience in process improvement and enterprise technology, with a career spanning consulting, technology, and financial leadership roles. He is known for a collaborative, outcomes-driven leadership style that emphasizes clarity, accountability, change management, operational excellence, technology enablement, and cross-departmental alignment. Marcus earned a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and remains actively engaged in ongoing professional development.

Nicole Bickers leads the strategy, development, and optimization of the systems and processes that power project execution across Roncelli. She partners closely with operations, project management, and finance teams to align field execution with corporate workflows, using platforms such as Procore and integrated systems to drive consistency, efficiency, transparency, and data integrity.

Nicole joined Roncelli in November 1999 and has played a key role in building scalable, standardized delivery frameworks that support high-performing teams and successful project outcomes. She led the company’s Procore implementation and long-term evolution into a core operating platform for project delivery, training, reporting, and process standardization. She has also advanced connected integrations between Procore and key contract, finance, and compliance systems, helping improve workflow efficiency and cross-functional alignment. Nicole holds multiple Procore certifications.

Brett Gaudreau leads Roncelli’s health and safety program, helping ensure every project is executed safely, efficiently, and without disruption. His work centers on building a proactive safety culture, strengthening risk management systems, and creating accountability at every level of the operation. Brett’s approach is grounded in people first leadership, with a focus on protecting team members, clients, trade partners, and the communities impacted by Roncelli’s work.

Brett brings a strong field and safety background to his role. He began his career as a Local 2 Union Bricklayer, later transitioned into telecom as a project and safety manager, and has spent more than 10 years advancing safety at Roncelli. Under his leadership, the company has achieved industry-leading safety performance, including a low EMR and 7 million hours without a lost time injury. His credentials include Certified Healthcare Safety Professional, OSHA 500, OSHA 510, OSHA 30, and multiple MIOSHA MTI construction safety and occupational health certifications.

Ryan White leads Roncelli’s Advanced Manufacturing Group, supporting project delivery, preconstruction, client relationships, team development, and market growth. His work connects operations, estimating, safety, quality, finance, business development, marketing, human resources, and field operations to help deliver complex projects successfully.

Ryan joined Roncelli in 2007, after graduating from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. Before joining Roncelli, he worked in residential and light commercial construction as an electrical and HVAC apprentice, giving him a practical foundation in the field. His Roncelli career has focused heavily on automotive and advanced manufacturing work for clients including Ford, GM, Stellantis, and several automotive suppliers. Ryan has helped grow the advanced manufacturing sector, led major projects with aggressive schedules and budgets, and served as a mentor to team members across the company.

Todd James serves as Group Director, Healthcare, providing strategic leadership for Roncelli’s healthcare construction portfolio. In this role, he oversees complex projects from preconstruction through delivery, supports client relationships, guides project teams, and helps ensure successful execution in highly regulated clinical environments.

With nearly three decades of construction experience, Todd has led healthcare projects ranging from targeted renovations to major capital expansions valued up to $300 million. His experience includes hospital vertical expansions, ICU and emergency department renovations, sterile processing upgrades, imaging and radiation therapy spaces, and infrastructure modernization. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Western Michigan University and brings a collaborative, detail-driven approach focused on planning, risk management, and patient-centered project delivery.

Mike Herbon leads Roncelli’s Energy Group, overseeing operations from project development through project execution. His role focuses on growing Roncelli’s involvement in the energy market, building strong client and subcontractor relationships, and supporting successful outcomes across EPC and self-perform project types.

Mike joined Roncelli in 2015 after 10 years in construction management roles with both contractor and owner organizations. He has been successfully executing construction projects since 2004 and has helped establish and grow Roncelli’s presence in the energy market, building a team and program from the ground up with a focus on drive, learning, and long-term success. His experience includes utility-scale solar, utility-scale battery energy storage systems, carbon sequestration, mechanical self-perform, structural self-perform, and civil self-perform work. Mike is a graduate of Western Michigan University, a Licensed Professional Engineer, a Licensed Builder in the State of Michigan, and a LEED Accredited Professional.

Ed Hennessey leads and supports Roncelli’s Canadian operations, including project leadership, business management, client coordination, and market development. His experience includes tier one automotive, OEM automotive, logistics, and large-scale manufacturing site design and construction.

Ed joined Roncelli in 2023 after a career supporting international automotive manufacturing and complex corporate transformation initiatives. His background includes the acquisition, design, and construction of new headquarters, testing centers, and accelerated manufacturing facilities, along with environmental and governmental experience that supports complex project planning and execution. Ed holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Industrial Supervision and Marketing from Central Michigan University.

Ken West leads Roncelli’s Builders Group, overseeing self-performed construction activities including strategic planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, field leadership, safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and continuous improvement. His leadership supports project teams and trade partners while helping drive consistent performance across self-perform operations.

Ken joined Roncelli in 1999 and progressed through the organization from Assistant Project Manager to Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and now Group Director. He brings extensive self-perform experience leading complex automotive and industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. His hands-on background as a trade laborer, carpenter, and equipment operator gives him a practical, field-first understanding of construction means and methods, safety requirements, and productivity. Ken has strengthened quality and accountability across teams by establishing clear performance standards, implementing audits, standardizing workflows, clarifying roles, and improving communication and reporting structures. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Ferris State University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and LEED AP certification.

Nancy Poxson leads Roncelli’s accounting team and helps ensure accurate, timely financial reporting across the organization. As Controller, she provides financial support to operations and helps maintain the consistency, structure, and accountability needed to support project teams and company leadership.

Nancy joined Roncelli in 1988, beginning her career with the company as Office Manager. Over the years, she has built a strong team of project accountants and finance specialists and has played an important role in supporting the systems and processes that help Roncelli operate effectively. Most recently, Nancy has been a leader in the company’s ERP integration to Sage Intacct, helping strengthen financial reporting and operational visibility.

Joe joined Roncelli on December 31, 2001 and has focused on strengthening technology operations across the company. He has helped standardize processes, improve reliability, and build a dependable technology foundation that supports long-term growth. His leadership plays an important role in connecting business needs with practical technology solutions for both field and office environments.

Chase Janssen leads estimating and preconstruction efforts for Roncelli’s Core Markets, supporting client relationships, developing new partnerships, and helping drive growth in both established and emerging market sectors. His work spans advanced manufacturing, industrial, government, logistics and distribution, large mechanical projects, and mission critical environments.

Chase joined Roncelli in 2018 and has advanced through roles including intern, Estimator, and Senior Estimator. He has played a key role in major Air Tempering projects for Ford in Kansas City and Louisville and has helped strengthen client relationships within the advanced manufacturing market. Chase holds bachelor’s degrees in GIS and Land Use Planning from Central Michigan University and is pursuing a master’s degree in Construction Management from Wayne State University. He also holds OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification and a Tennessee Contractors License.

Ehrlich Crain brings more than 40 years of construction and real estate experience to his role at Roncelli, where he leads business development and marketing efforts for metropolitan Detroit. He manages the firm’s Detroit office and oversees Roncelli’s Diversity Program, supporting relationships with organizations such as the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council, the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, and other local diversity and government agencies.

A graduate of Western Michigan University and a licensed real estate professional, Ehrlich is actively involved in several civic and community organizations. He serves as board president of Detroit Innovation Academy K-8 Charter School, vice chairman of the State of Michigan Building Authority Board of Trustees, board treasurer of the East Jefferson Development Corporation, and a board member of the City of Detroit Downtown Development Authority and the Detroit Athletic Club.

Scot Ferguson leads Roncelli’s marketing department, strengthening the company’s brand, reputation, and market presence. His role connects Roncelli’s people, projects, culture, and client experience through strategy, messaging, visuals, photography, and storytelling that support growth across the company’s markets.

Scot joined Roncelli in 2022 as Creative Marketing Manager. He began his career with an automotive publication, gaining experience in design, layout, photography, digital marketing, and advertising, then expanded into freelance creative work with brands including WeWork, Chevrolet, and the Detroit Red Wings. At Roncelli, Scot has helped transform the company’s brand presence across digital media, social platforms, photography, and marketing communications. His photography work brought him directly onto jobsites, where he built relationships with field teams and gained a deeper understanding of Roncelli’s culture and work. That firsthand connection helped shape the authentic visual identity and storytelling approach that represents the Roncelli brand today. Scot holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Central Michigan University.

Chelsea Smith leads business development efforts that help Roncelli build strong relationships, win work, and support long-term growth. Her focus includes complex and technical environments such as healthcare, energy, industrial facilities, active and occupied campuses, large multi-phase projects, infrastructure-heavy work, and clients seeking long-term capital program partners.

Chelsea brings a strong background in sales, strategy, and client engagement from the automotive and manufacturing sectors. Before joining Roncelli, she served as Sales Director at Empire Electronics, where she worked with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, managed RFQs, quoting, forecasting, and pipeline visibility, and helped align global sales and marketing strategies. She has scaled revenue and pipeline performance in competitive environments and built structured sales and business development processes that improved visibility, accountability, and team alignment. Chelsea holds a pre-medical degree with a chemistry minor.

William Palazzolo provides leadership and oversight for preconstruction projects and pursuits, helping guide strategy, subcontractor relationships, estimator development, and team organization. His work supports accurate planning, competitive positioning, and strong project foundations across healthcare, advanced manufacturing, education, commercial, office interior, and large-scale project environments.

William joined Roncelli in 2019 as an Estimator with a focus on healthcare projects. He brings market expertise in healthcare and prior experience as both a project manager and owner’s representative, giving him a well-rounded perspective on client priorities, constructability, and project execution. At Roncelli, William has led major healthcare efforts with Corewell Health, Henry Ford, McLaren, Trinity, and Detroit Medical Center, along with advanced manufacturing and lab sector projects for Stellantis and Ford Motor Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Michigan State University.
