As Roncelli’s President & CEO, Gino Roncelli is responsible for overseeing internal operations, helping build strong customer relationships, maximizing the firm’s operating performance and helping achieve Roncelli’s financial goals. He is the third-generation Roncelli to manage the company and is responsible for driving the company’s culture of operational excellence, great talent and most importantly, putting the customer first.

Gino is a University of Michigan graduate, earning his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the Ross School of Business. While building his career at Roncelli, he attended Wayne State University Law School. Now a licensed attorney in Michigan and LEED® accredited, Gino has more than 12 years of construction services experience.

Michael Cairns is responsible for the financial, tax, treasury management and risk management for Roncelli and related entities. He works closely with owners, directors and project teams to ensure successful outcomes for each project and for the company as a whole. In addition, Michael maintains strong relationships with banking, bonding, insurance, accounting and other professional service organizations to assist in protecting Roncelli’s long-term financial health.

Michael is a graduate of the University of Detroit with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and has been a certified public accountant since 1993. In 1999, he began his career at Roncelli and worked at the field level as a project accountant and assistant treasurer before evolving into his current position.

Jim Carnacchi is responsible for Roncelli’s bidding strategies and achieving the firm’s yearly estimating goals. On a daily basis, Jim works closely with the estimating team and upper management on bid and proposal solicitations. He also oversees Roncelli’s trade partner network, relationships and prospects.

Jim graduated from Ferris State University in construction management, holds a Michigan Builders License and is LEED AP certified. He started his career at Roncelli in 1995 as a junior estimator. In his early years at the company, he also worked as a project engineer and as a project manager. Prior to joining the company, Jim worked as a cement finisher and operator.

Paul Day supports Roncelli’s overall project operations and performance. Providing guidance and leadership to planning, schedule management and staff development, Paul ensures critical goals and objectives are met and client expectations are exceeded.

Paul has 30 years of construction experience with almost 27 years at Roncelli where he started as a project engineer. He earned a master’s in engineering management from Oakland University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan State University.

Jereme Poxson is responsible for developing and nurturing Roncelli’s healthcare market segment. For the past 10 years, Jereme has focused solely on healthcare construction and the unique complexities involved. He has a true passion and understanding for making sure owner operations are not affected during construction projects; this includes putting patients and visitors first.

Jereme graduated from Western Michigan University with a background in construction management. After spending a few years in Connecticut working in the family construction business, Jereme joined Roncelli in 1998 as an estimator. Developing his career from estimator to chief estimator and ultimately to Vice President of Healthcare, Jereme utilizes his unique background to provide cost-centered focus to help clients achieve their goals.

With more than 35 years of construction industry experience, Jude DeBacker has spent the last 21 years at Roncelli, where he began as a Superintendent. In his role as Senior Vice President of Field Operations, Jude leads Roncelli’s field teams with a focus on safety, quality, and performance. He oversees all aspects of field operations, including supervision, scheduling, resource management, and compliance—ensuring projects run smoothly and exceed expectations.

Jude is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management.

With 27 years at Roncelli, Jeff Tessmer plays a key role in guiding project delivery and operational excellence across the organization. Starting as a college intern and later joining full time as a Project Engineer, Jeff now leads Roncelli’s project management teams with a focus on innovation, safety, and efficiency. He collaborates with senior leadership, mentors project managers, and ensures budget, schedule, and quality expectations are consistently met.

Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and Management from Western Michigan University and an MBA in Finance from Walsh College.

Stephanie Maynard is Roncelli’s VP of Human Resources. In her role, Stephanie develops and inspires the team with her positive, strategic and empathetic leadership approach. She prides herself on building relationships and transparency with team members and enjoys collaborating with others that aid her efforts to continuously improve approaches within the organization. Stephanie believes that relationship building and communication are important factors when connecting teams with management. Some of Stephanie’s primary focuses are employee engagement, talent acquisition, employee development and strategic planning.

Stephanie is a member of MichBusinsess HR Peer Group and other community organizations. She holds a master’s degree in management with a specialization in human resource management and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on management and a minor in marketing.

Marcus leads enterprise-wide initiatives focused on modernizing operations, improving efficiency, and enabling scalable growth. In this role, Marcus partners closely with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to align people, process, and technology with Roncelli’s strategic objectives.


Marcus supports Roncelli’s operations and clients by driving continuous improvement across business systems, workflows, and digital platforms. He focuses on delivering practical, measurable outcomes—streamlining processes, improving data visibility, and ensuring teams have the tools and insights needed to perform at a high level while maintaining Roncelli’s commitment to quality and service.


As a leader, Marcus is known for a collaborative and outcomes‑driven approach. He emphasizes clarity, accountability, and change management, ensuring that transformation initiatives are adopted successfully and create lasting value. His leadership focus areas include operational excellence, technology enablement, and cross‑departmental alignment.


Marcus brings extensive experience in process improvement, and enterprise technology, with a career spanning multiple years in consulting, tech, and financial leadership roles. He graduated with a BBA from the University of Notre Dame, and remains actively engaged in ongoing professional development to stay current with evolving industry best practices.

Nicole Bickers began her career at Roncelli in 1999 as an administrative assistant. Today, as VP - Project Delivery Systems, she provides administrative support to the director of project management and oversees the administrative staff and overall management of Roncelli’s offices. Such responsibilities include managing the company’s project management software, paper and electronic document control, new company policy implementation and much more.

Brett Gaudreau is responsible for ensuring the overall health and safety of Roncelli’s team members, trade partners and customers. Brett’s career in construction began with brick laying before he moved into telecommunications for safety management. Brett brought his knowledge of safety and construction experience to Roncelli in 2016. Since then, he has enhanced Roncelli’s positive safety culture while reducing accidents and injuries. His most recent accomplishment was leading Roncelli in achieving seven million work hours with zero lost-time injuries.

Ryan White serves as Group Director of Advanced Manufacturing at Roncelli, where he leads teams delivering complex manufacturing and industrial projects for automotive and advanced technology clients. With experience spanning project management through senior leadership, Ryan brings a strong understanding of technically demanding environments, including active facilities, specialized equipment installations, and high‑performance building systems.

He works closely with clients, designers, and field teams to ensure projects are executed with a focus on safety, coordination, efficiency, and quality. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and an Associate of Science in Building Construction Management from Ferris State University.

Todd James serves as Group Director – Healthcare, providing strategic leadership for Roncelli’s healthcare construction portfolio. In this role, Todd is responsible for overseeing complex healthcare projects from preconstruction through delivery, supporting client relationships, guiding project teams, and ensuring successful execution in highly regulated clinical environments. He partners closely with owners, designers, and internal teams to deliver projects that prioritize patient safety, operational continuity, and long‑term value.

Todd brings a collaborative, detail‑driven leadership approach with a strong focus on planning, risk management, and team development. His experience includes managing large, multidisciplinary project teams; aligning scope, budget, and schedule; and navigating infection control, interim life safety, and operational constraints within active healthcare facilities. He is deeply engaged in mentoring project managers and strengthening Roncelli’s healthcare delivery standards.

With nearly three decades of construction experience, Todd has led healthcare projects ranging from targeted renovations to major capital expansions valued up to $300 million. His portfolio includes hospital vertical expansions, ICU and emergency department renovations, sterile processing upgrades, imaging and radiation therapy spaces, and infrastructure modernization. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Western Michigan University and has spent the majority of his career focused on healthcare construction.

Michael Herbon serves as Director of the Energy Group at Roncelli, where he leads the company’s renewable energy and energy infrastructure initiatives. Since helping launch Roncelli’s energy program initiative in 2022, Michael has played a key role in expanding the company’s presence in utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. He oversees project delivery from early planning and preconstruction through construction, commissioning, and successful completion, working closely with utility clients, developers, engineering partners, and internal teams to ensure complex energy infrastructure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with client objectives.


Under Michael’s leadership, Roncelli continues to expand its capabilities in renewable energy construction, supporting the growing demand for resilient and sustainable energy infrastructure. His leadership approach emphasizes collaboration, disciplined planning, and proactive risk management—aligning engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to deliver high-quality, reliable infrastructure solutions.


Michael has been active in the construction management industry since 2004, bringing extensive experience delivering large-scale commercial and industrial projects prior to leading Roncelli’s growth in the renewable energy sector. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and is both a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) and a licensed Builder in the State of Michigan.

Ed Hennessey serves as Group Director – Canada, where he is responsible for leading and overseeing Roncelli’s Canadian operations and project execution. In this role, Ed manages complex, large‑scale construction initiatives while supporting Roncelli’s clients and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

With more than 34 years of experience in the automotive industry, Ed brings deep expertise from his career with an international Tier 1, full‑service design‑build supplier. His background includes quality systems and manufacturing processes, facility and headquarters site selection, governmental and regulatory coordination, facility design and construction, and full site activations. He is known for his hands‑on leadership approach, particularly on large and complex automotive projects where collaboration and execution excellence are critical.

Ed joined Roncelli two years ago and has since been instrumental in managing and growing the company’s Canadian project portfolio. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree from Central Michigan University in Industrial Supervision and Management with a focus in Marketing.

With more than 30 years of construction industry experience, and joining Roncelli in 1999, Ken West oversees the firm’s self-perform efforts. He is responsible for concrete and excavation operations, equipment allocation and the coordination of union tradesmen. Working with project teams throughout various Roncelli divisions, Ken ensures better response times, cost control and schedule adherence.

Ken is a graduate of Ferris State University with a degree in construction management. He has a Masters of Business Administration, holds LEED® AP certification and various other construction certifications.

With over 35 years of dedicated service, Nancy Poxson has played a vital role in Roncelli’s growth and success since joining the company as Office Manager. Today, she oversees the daily operations of the Accounting Department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across the organization. Nancy leads a team of Project Accountants and works closely with Operations to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and support Roncelli’s long-term goals.

Her focus on continuous improvement and team collaboration has made her a key contributor to maintaining financial integrity and operational excellence across all projects.

Joe LoCricchio is the Director of Technology Operations at Roncelli, where he leads the systems and technology that keep the organization running day to day. His role focuses on making sure technology is reliable, secure, and practical—supporting both office staff and field teams with tools that help them do their jobs efficiently and without unnecessary friction. At its core, his responsibility is ensuring technology works for the business, not the other way around.


In supporting Roncelli’s operations, Joe works closely with internal teams, leadership, and trusted partners to solve real-world problems and improve how technology is delivered across the company. His leadership style is collaborative and hands-on, with an emphasis on clear communication, accountability, and continuous improvement. He focuses on aligning technology decisions with operational needs, helping teams stay productive while reducing complexity and downtime.


With over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, Joe brings a steady, practical perspective to technology leadership. Since joining Roncelli, he has been focused on strengthening technology operations, standardizing processes, and building a dependable foundation that supports long-term growth. His experience allows him to balance strategy with execution, ensuring technology initiatives are thoughtful, scalable, and grounded in day‑to‑day realities.

Chase Janssen serves as Director of Preconstruction – Core Markets at Roncelli, where he works closely with the estimating team to support bid and proposal efforts. In this role, he collaborates with leadership and project teams to develop accurate budgets and proposals while ensuring client expectations and quality standards are met.

Chase joined Roncelli seven years ago after first working with the company as an intern while attending Central Michigan University. Since then, he has primarily worked as an Estimator while also supporting select projects in a project management capacity. He focuses on maintaining relationships with repeat clients while helping build new partnerships.

Chase holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Central Michigan University in Geographic Information Science and Environmental and Land Use Planning. He also holds an OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification and a Tennessee Contractors License and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Construction Management from Wayne State University.

With more than 40 years of construction and real estate experience, Ehrlich Crain is responsible for Roncelli’s business development and marketing efforts for metropolitan Detroit. He manages the firm’s Detroit office and oversees Roncelli’s Diversity Program, which includes working with the Michigan Minority Business Development Council, the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and other local diversity and government agencies.


Ehrlich is a graduate of Western Michigan University and a licensed real estate professional. He is board president of the Detroit Innovation Academy K-8 Charter School; a board member of the City of Detroit Downtown Development Authority and Detroit Athletic Club; vice chairman of the board of trustees for the State of Michigan Building Authority; and board treasurer of the East Jefferson Development Corporation.

Born and raised in Saginaw, Scot Ferguson moved to Detroit in 2011 to pursue a career in creative marketing and design. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Central Michigan University, where he studied graphic design, painting, and photography, creative disciplines that continue to shape his artistic perspective and approach to branding today.

Scot began his career with an automotive publication, gaining experience across design, layout, photography, digital marketing, and advertising. He later expanded into freelance creative work, collaborating with brands including WeWork, Chevrolet, and the Detroit Red Wings. Outside of work, he continues to pursue photography and painting, with a creative style heavily influenced by industrial environments, Detroit architecture, and everyday moments captured through the lens of construction and city life.

Scot joined Roncelli in 2022 as a Creative Marketing Analyst and currently serves as Director of Marketing. Since joining the company, he has helped transform Roncelli’s brand presence across digital media, social platforms, photography, and marketing communications. His photography work brought him directly onto job sites, where he built relationships with field teams and gained a deeper understanding of the company’s culture and projects. That firsthand connection helped define the authentic visual identity and storytelling approach that now represents the Roncelli brand today.

With a background in business development, marketing, and proposal strategy within the construction industry, she has experience guiding complex pursuits and working closely with executive and operational leadership. William Palazzolo serves as Director of Preconstruction for Specialized Markets, where he leads preconstruction efforts across Roncelli’s healthcare and commercial portfolios. In this role, William oversees proposal management, bid packaging, pursuit strategy, and early project planning, while providing continuous support to project teams from concept through construction.

With a hands-on leadership approach, William focuses on supporting and mentoring estimators by providing guidance while empowering them to take ownership of their projects. He works closely with clients, design teams, and field leadership to ensure scope clarity, competitive pricing, and seamless transitions from preconstruction to execution.

William brings more than 13 years of industry experience, with a strong background in healthcare and commercial construction. Prior to joining Roncelli in 2020, he worked for the University of Chicago Medicine and Corewell Health. Since joining Roncelli, he has progressed from Estimator to Senior Estimator before being promoted to Director of Preconstruction. William holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Michigan State University.
