A new chapter has begun for one of Detroit's historic Broadway buildings.
Roncelli is proud to have served as the construction partner for The Belle, a transformative adaptive reuse project developed by Bedrock in the heart of downtown Detroit's entertainment district. Located at 1346 Broadway Street, the historic building has been thoughtfully restored and reimagined as a vibrant residential destination that blends Detroit's architectural heritage with modern urban living.

Originally constructed in 1926, the building formerly known as Harvard Square Centre, sat as a recognizable part of Detroit's streetscape for generations. Today, it has been revitalized into a mixed-use development featuring 42 apartment homes and street-level retail space, creating new opportunities for residents while preserving the character that makes Broadway unique.

For Roncelli, projects like The Belle represent more than construction. They are an opportunity to help preserve Detroit's history while contributing to its future growth. Working alongside Bedrock, the project team carefully restored historic elements of the building while delivering the modern systems, finishes, and amenities required for today's residents.

The Belle is part of the continued revitalization of Detroit's Broadway corridor and Paradise Valley district, helping bring new housing, retail activity, and energy to one of the city's most historic neighborhoods. As Detroit continues to grow, projects like this demonstrate the value of investing in existing buildings and creating spaces that honor the past while serving future generations.
We are honored to have played a role in bringing this landmark project to life and thankful for the partnership with Bedrock and the entire project team that made it possible.
